Purpose and Legal Basis for Processing of Personal Data

Personal data is collected within the scope of market processing for our own business purposes, for analyzing and optimizing the use of this website, and for the purpose of entering into an employment relationship (recruiting) pursuant to Art. 6 GDPR.

Insofar as we obtain your consent for the processing of your personal data, Art. 6 Para. 1 clause 1 lit. a GDPR is the legal basis for its processing.

When processing personal data that is necessary to fulfill an agreement with you, Art. 6 Para. 1 clause 1 lit. b GDPR is the legal basis. This also applies to processing operations that are necessary for carrying out pre-contractual measures.

Insofar as the processing of personal data is necessary to fulfill a legal obligation to which Charisma-Tec is subject, Art. 6 Para. 1 clause 1 lit. c GDPR is the legal basis.

If a processing is necessary to safeguard Charisma-Tec’s legitimate interest or that of a third party, and if your interests, fundamental rights and freedoms do not outweigh the former, Art. 6 Para. 1 clause 1 lit. f GDPR is the legal basis.

Should we process your personal data for any other reason than for which we originally collected it, we will inform you of this new purpose to the extent permitted by law.

Transferring Personal Data to Third Parties and/or Third Countries

We transfer users’ personal data to Charisma-Tec’s cooperation companies, customers and interested parties, as far as this is necessary for recruiting activities.

Third parties commissioned by us in order to perform certain tasks on Charisma-Tec’s behalf and instructions may have access to personal data by acting as a processor. This could include, for instance, IT service providers which perform hosting, database management, website management, maintenance services, web analytics, and handling of incoming requests and data analysis. We require third parties to implement and maintain appropriate security measures to ensure the confidentiality and security of the data you entrust to us, and to process personal data only in accordance with our instructions, as contractually agreed with the third party.

Except of usage data for statistical purposes by Google, Facebook, or other social media plugins, no personal data is transmitted to a third country outside the EU.

Storage Duration

Unless otherwise consented or revoked, personal data will only be stored for as long as it is necessary to fulfill the purpose of processing.

Stored online applications will be deleted six (6) months after the advertised position has been filled, unless consent has been given for the application data to remain in our talent pool for the purpose of filling another vacancy at a later stage and to be used in a subsequent recruiting process.

Data Subject Rights

You have the right to request the access, rectification, and deletion of your personal data at any time (Art. 15, 16, 17 GDPR). Furthermore, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data and the right to restriction of processing (Art. 21 and Art. 18 GDPR). You also have the right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR). You have the right not to be subject to a decision based exclusively on automated processing (including profiling) that has legal effect against you or significantly impairs you in a similar manner (Art. 22 GDPR).

Google stores the information that you have given +1 for a content, as well as the information about the page you were viewing when you clicked +1. In particular, no IP addresses will be stored, and no usage behavior will be evaluated. Your Personal Information

Furthermore, your personal information is only stored if you provide it to us, i. e. through an inquiry in a contact form or via e-mail. If you provide us with your data via the contact form, we use this data to contact you regarding your inquiry. In this case, we generally contact you by e-mail and by phone. In addition, we use your postal address or e-mail address to keep you informed about interesting offers and news from Charisma-Tec. If you no longer wish to receive information and/or advertising from us, you can notify us at any time and raise your objection via e-mail to datenschutz-ct@charisma-tec.de.

Online Applications

For a quick and convenient application, you may use our online application tool. The information provided will solely be used for the treatment of your application process within Charisma-Tec, or within the company group, if we received your consent for the latter. Your contact and application data will be stored for the duration of the application process. No later than six (6) months after the end of the application process, your application data will be deleted, unless you request an earlier deletion, or you request the admission to our talent pool. For the latter, your application data will be stored for twenty-four (24) months, unless you request an earlier deletion. For the online application tool transmission, we use an encryption process in order to protect your application data form unauthorized access (see below). Please note that applications sent to us via e-mail are being transmitted unencrypted. Therefore, we recommend using our online application tool.

Data Security

We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to safeguard the protection of your data. Our employees are obliged to comply with our data protection rules, to select our service providers carefully, and obligated to observe and comply with privacy regulations in general. Some parts concerning web offers, which include very sensitive data (e. g. in forms), are also encrypted by using SSL to protect your data from unauthorized access. You can usually recognize encrypted websites by the lock symbol in your browser. Please note that unencrypted data transmission (via e-mail or other web forms) may be read by unauthorized persons outside our sphere and influence. If you wish to transmit sensitive data unencrypted, we therefore recommend that you use other transmission methods.
